Prosthesis
We can say with confidence that prosthetics is our priority industry because the clinic has a dental laboratory with over 20 years of experience.
WHAT IS A DENTAL PROSTHESIS?
Anything that replaces lost tooth tissue can be called a prosthesis. Even a small filling is a prosthesis, but it is not made in a laboratory, but by a dentist directly in the oral cavity. Veneers, overlays, crowns, bridges, and other removable and non-removable structures are all prostheses for which there are indications

WHAT IS BETTER - A DENTAL FILLING OR A CROWN?
Fillings or composite restorations are suitable where, after drilling, small carious cavities in vital teeth need to be filled. The strength and structural integrity of the crown part of those teeth are generally not damaged.
In all other cases, especially when the teeth are already endodontically treated (dead), it is better to install crowns, such as zirconium dioxide.
There is a prejudice that the crown is bad. Some people try to “save” teeth to the last with the help of fillings because they believe that such a tooth will last longer. From experience, we can say that this is a big mistake. Why?
The dentist installs the filling directly in the oral cavity and therefore is limited in the choice of material. In this case, light-curing composite is mostly used. This composite is much weaker than lithium or zircon disilicate, the materials used to make veneers, overlays, and crowns.
If the lateral teeth are almost completely restored by such composites, there is an overload and vertical abrasion of the front teeth with their subsequent destruction. Massive fillings absorb moisture, expand, and can, like a wedge, split your teeth.
Therefore, in such cases, crowns or overlays that do not wear off and hold the bite height well are better for the posterior teeth. They also protect the teeth from the penetration of infection into the root canals.
If the front teeth are already depulped (dead), it is also better to install crowns on them.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF RESTORATION OF LOST AND DAMAGED TEETH IN DENT MASTER?
-
Data collection.
- Photo protocol (We perform a series of photos and a short video to analyze the smile in the dynamics).
- If necessary, we take targeted X-rays or ask patients to do computed tomography if needed.
- We take diagnostic dental impressions and make dental models.
- We scan models and load data into a 3D design program.
- At complex rehabilitations to exclude problems with joints, we define the correct position of a head of a joint in an articular fossa, and in the future we prosthetic so that to reproduce the correct and comfortable bite.
- After analyzing the data, we perform a digital Wax App in the program. We print the model.
With the help of silicone wrenches and composite, we transfer the model into the oral cavity. This is called Mock Upp – fitting the future smile. Mock Upp allows us to show the patient what his teeth will look like, not just on a computer monitor.
With Mock Upp, the patient can live for a day or two to see if he is comfortable with such teeth, if the shape and color are right. - We prepare teeth for veneers, overlays or crowns. This procedure is performed under anesthesia.
- After receiving the impression, digital or analog, we install temporary veneers, crowns, or overlays on the prepared teeth. These are first-order temporary teeth made by the direct method, something like the Mock App.
Our patients do not stay without teeth and can freely communicate with people during the whole prosthetics process without feeling physical or social discomfort. And even at these initial stages, their teeth look better than before treatment. -
In our laboratory with the help of CAD / CAM technologies, we make temporary second-order teeth, which can be printed or milled. These temporary crowns are more accurate and strong and can last up to a year if needed.
- If the patient is satisfied with the shape and color of the teeth, it’s comfortable to chew food and make sounds, we begin the stage of making permanent teeth from presceramics GC LiSi Press or zirconium dioxide ZrO2
- We try on restorations (veneers, overlays, crowns and bridges). After final approval from both sides, we fix them.
DENT MASTER EQUIPMENT
Having our dental laboratory gives us many advantages.
First of all, it is the best communication between all participants in the prosthetics process. The doctor, technician, and patient have the opportunity to communicate directly with each other at all stages of creating new teeth. In addition, when a technician sees the result of his work in the mouth, he notices those moments that are not visible on models or computer monitors.
Our clinic and laboratory are equipped with everything necessary to create reliable and aesthetic crowns, bridges, and another prosthesis that will not differ from natural teeth.
These are the extremely accurate Medit Ideentica scanner, the powerful 5-axis Aidite AMD-500 milling machine, Progret SP-01 zircon sintering furnace, Form 2 SLA laser printer, and Phrozen Sonic 4K LCD printer, Bego Fornax T induction casting machine, and many other pieces of equipment.
In our work, we use a combination of analog and digital methods of manufacturing crowns, bridges, and other types of prosthesis.
